Keep Separate Underwear
Ensure you have separate underwear when on your period. Change your innerwear daily and when you wash it, use only hot or warm water. Add a little bleaching powder or lemon to the water so it can remove stains if any.
Change Those Bedsheets
Changing the bedsheets is another simple hygiene tip to follow when your on a period. This is the second step to follow.
Sanitary Napkin Tips
The most important thing to keep in mind is the sanitary napkins. Three rules: Change it every 3 hours, wear cotton light napkins and place the pad properly on the lining of your panty to avoid any skin rash.
After A Workout!!
Post a workout you should be extra clean if your on a period. Since you are sweating all over the body, the first thing you should do is have a bath and change the napkin. If ignored, the accumulated sweat might lead to a bacterial infection.
Time To Take A Bath
One of the important tips when on your period is to bathe twice in a day. This ensures you are clean and keeps away the germs in your vaginal area and prevents it from infection.
Keep Your Lady Dry
After a bath, dry yourself well and make sure that there is no water accumulating in the private area. This will mix with the sweat and thus increase to any chance of an infection.
Be Careful What You Use
