It is said that waking up early morning is a very healthy habit. But did you know that there is also a concept of morning habits. All things you do at the beginning of the day are considered as your morning habits. If you wake up late and sleepy, then it is an unhealthy morning habit that you have. Also, everything you do after you are awake till you leave for work falls under the category of your morning habits.

So if you bathe early morning, then it is a healthy habit. If you do not exercise in the morning, then it is a morning habit that you need to change. Everything you eat in the early hours also comes under the list of your morning habits. Beginning your day with black coffee and no breakfast is one of the worst morning habits that you can have.

Doing some light exercise followed by a partially heavy breakfast, then your habits are healthy. Here is a list of healthy morning habits that everyone should try to cultivate in their lives.


Wake Up Early

If you have to cultivate morning habits at all, then firstly you have to wake up early. If you wake up just 15 minutes before leaving, you will end up doing nothing with your mornings.


Drink Water

An average adult sleeps for at least 6 to 8 hours. So you will not be drinking water for a long duration during this time. Drinking water should be the first thing in the morning to flush out toxins.


Practice Yoga Asanas

Doing yoga early in the morning helps you stay fit and also lose weight. In fact, even if you just do breathing exercises and meditate in the morning, it will help you focus your energy for the rest of the day.


Drink Warm Water With Lemon & Honey

If your bowels are not clear in the morning, you tend to be uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Drink lukewarm water mixed with lemon juice and honey. This drink cures constipation and keeps your bowel movements smooth.


Go For A Jog

You need to do some aerobic exercises in the morning to pump air into your lungs. To sweat it out, you can go for a morning walk, jog or run on the treadmill.


Bathe In The Morning

Always bathe in the morning to clear your drowsiness and feel fresh. You may bathe later in the day but it never has the refreshing effect of bathing in the morning.


Have Juice Instead Of Tea/Coffee

Do not start your day with caffeine beverages like tea or coffee. It stimulates your brain but harms your body. Have fresh citrus juices instead of caffeine.


Eat A Heavy Breakfast

Never skip your breakfast. It should be the heaviest meal of the day. You must have filling things like oats, sandwiches, cereals with fruits etc for breakfast.
