Essential Vitamins To Boost Brain Function
Many of us blame the advent of technology for making our memory take a back seat. Likewise, we also claim that there are various other reasons that could be blamed for making our brain lazy; be it the sedentary lifestyle, pollution and even food. However, we fail to recognise that poor nutritional intake plays a major role in defining the health status of our brain.
Proper nutrition is extremely essential for the brain to function in a right way. If there is a lack of nutritions in our diet , it not only effects our health system but also reduces the function of our brain.
In order to make our brain function with ease, it is important to add supplements or adjust our diet by including more essential vitamins in our diets, specifically those which are beneficial for the brain. It is also necessary to note that we need to include brain boosting foods in our daily diets to increase brain power.

Here are a few vitamins that can help improve brain development and boost memory power:
Vitamin E
Vitamin E, is known to be good for our skin and hair. Likewise, consuming food which are high in Vitamin E will also improve brain functions. This vitamin is known to be an antioxidant and is said to delay the progression of the first stage of Alzeimer's disease. Almonds, green leafy vegetables, sunflower oil and hazelnuts are said to have abundant amounts of Vitamin E.
Vitamin B Complex

Vitamin B-12
The deficiency of Vitamin B-12 is linked to nerve damage, memory loss, mood swings and mental slowness. Vitamin B-12 is an essential nutrient that is needed for the formation of mylein, which is essential to form layers around the nerve fibres that acts like insulation. This vitamin is said to be mostly found in meats like pork, beef, fish and lamb.
Vitamin B-6
Vitamin B-6 is essential for the function of neurotransmitters and for normal brain development. Deficiency in Vitamin B6, is said to lower concentration levels and lead to short term memory loss. Other symptoms include depression and moodiness. In order to get sufficient supply of Vitamin B-6, include beans, carrots, lentils and sunflower seeds in your daily diet.
