The words 'happiness' and 'satisfaction' has a different definition from each man's perspective. The enlightenment of our soul which can be attained through meditation can be used to conclude over limitations and challenges. Meditation has many advantages. It opens up the door to our hidden capabilities and power of intuitions. This state of 'waking consciousness' can be attained by orienting yourself inwardly and by invoking passions like compassion.

Gautama Buddha said, “Meditation brings wisdom, lack of meditation creates ignorance. Have awareness of what makes evolution, and of what creates delays.”

Let us find out some of the most popular ways of meditation that helps in curing stress.

Breathing Meditation: Sit with your back straight in a comfortable position and breathe comfortably through your nostrils with your eyes closed. The sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves the nostrils is the object of this form of meditation. You will feel relieved of all stress after a brief session of 15-20 minutes.

Mindful Meditation:
The objective of this form of meditation is to achieve a harmonic and calm mind. It strengthens various aspects of human mind. Try to meditate in a place which is not noisy. You may start trying meditation for short intervals, starting from 10 minutes for two times a day. Our mind and body are connected and energy flows through each sphere. We have to push our mind towards positive thoughts, and leave all our important work to rest while we meditate.

Imagery Meditation:
Allot yourself to take a break of 20-30 minutes per day and ensure that you can relax in that period. View soothing pictures or paintings, something that relaxes your mind. Your mind and body will release harmful toxins making you feel relaxed and stress free. You can try this meditation at any place if you cannot acquaint your mind meditating to the rhythm of music, sound or lyrics.

Meditation helps in reducing blood pressure, cholesterol, anxiety etc. It also increases the blood flow in our body and has multifaceted benefits at the psychological level. It helps decrease anxiety, mood swings, depression and irritation thus promoting a stress free life.

Meditation is a journey of self discovery. Our mind will feel calm, spacious, relaxed and stress free if we are able to meditate even for 15-20 minutes every day.
