When it comes to protein intake, we generally think that people who are vegetarians might be running short of this important ingredient in their diet.
However, it does not mean that they would succumb to malnutrition without having a proper protein intake, as there are many healthy sources of protein to combat this issue.

Sausage
Sausage is generally eaten as a breakfast meat. It is a highly processed meat that has large amounts of sodium and saturated fats that make it a bad option for protein sources.
Burgers
There is no burger that is considered as a healthy option. Though it does provide a decent source of proteins, the extra fats in the burger certainly make it an unhealthy option to consume.
Peanut Butter
This is not as nutritious as almond butter. If you are keen on having a nutty product then always opt for some almonds. Peanut butter is considered as one of the worst protein sources.
Pizzas
This is the most popular junk food. Though the base is made with refined wheat flour, the meat is processed and is extremely rich in calories. If you're assuming that a pizza is a good source of proteins, then you must watch out for those extra unnecessary calories.
White Bread
Bread is generally made of wheat and has a mixture of proteins called gluten in it. Hence, white bread is not a good choice of protein food for people who suffer from coeliac disease and, therefore, this food makes it to the list of worst protein foods.
Industrial Vegetable Oil
There are many serious health concerns when it comes to the use of industrial vegetable oils, as they are highly sensitive to oxidation and also increase the risk of cancer. Instead, opt for natural oils like olive oil and avocado oil that are good protein sources.
Potato Chips
Though potatoes are considered healthy, the products that are made out of it are not considered to be healthy at all. These foods are rich in calories and eating excess amount of these can only add to more weight gain.
