These Home Remedies Help Get Rid Of Dry Nose Quickly

When it comes to dry nose problem, it is not the nose skin we are talking about, it is the drying up of the inner nasal passage. Due to the cold dry weather, the mucous membranes in the inner nostrils dry up and it becomes painful too. This causes a lot of discomfort as you will not be able to breathe properly.
This might not be a serious health issue initially but if not taken care of on time, it might cause severe headaches, sinus, serious breathing and vision problems as well.

Also those who have the habit of blowing their nose frequently and smoking are more prone to get this problem of dry nose. Other medical conditions like common cold, allergies and certain nutritional deficiencies can also cause dryness of the nostrils.

1. Coconut Oil:
Take a bit of coconut oil, make it warm, dip a cotton swab and then using this apply it in both the nostrils. Do this before going to bed. It helps.

2. Glycerin:
Take a bit of glycerin and using a cotton swab apply it in both the nostrils. It helps in preventing dryness inside the nasal passage and relieves pain as well.

3. Mustard Oil:
Mustard oil is greasy in nature. Just pour two-three drops of mustard oil in each of the nostrils and try to inhale it slowly. This helps provide moisture to the nostrils and helps relieve the pain and dryness.

4.Hot Steam:
Take a bowl of hot water, bend your head right above the bowl and cover the head using a towel. Inhale the steam. Do this 2-3 times in a sitting. It helps in providing relief.

5. Almond Oil & Aloe Vera:
Take a few drops of almond oil and a bit of aloe vera gel. Mix them well. Using a cotton ball apply it on the nostrils once in a day. It helps in relieving the dryness and irritation.

6. Olive Oil:
Olive oil helps in hydrating the nasal chambers. Just put 2-3 drops of olive oil in each nostril. It helps in providing moisture to the nostrils and thus prevents irritation.

7. Sesame Oil:
Pour 2-3 drops of sesame oil and then tilt your head backwards. Try to inhale the oil essence. This helps in moisturizing the nasal passage. Do this two times a day; it helps prevent nose dryness.

8. Drink Lots Of Water:
Many a times dry nose problem is caused due to lack of water and dehydration as well. So one needs to drink lots of water in order to prevent dry nose problem.
