Hrithik Roshan Shares Top 10 Diet And Fitness Workout Tips On His Birthday

Hrithik Roshan, the Greek God of Bollywood, is among the top Bollywood celebrities to achieve the 'Sexiest Man Of Asia' and the 'Third Most Handsome Man Alive' titles.

His sculpted physique, blue-blooded stardom, high energy and effortless moves on the dance floor is what attracts a lot of people. To keep his chiselled body in shape, he trains with Kris Genthin, a world-renowned fitness icon. While prepping for the film Krrish 2, he used to train 4 days a week, twice a day.

His main focus was to increase strength, stamina, endurance and flexibility by doing a wide range of exercises such as lunges, single-legged squats and a perfect mix of cardio and circuit training.

Hrithik also kept his eating habits under control by staying away from chocolates, muffins and cookies. And that is one of the reasons why he is called the Greek God.

1. Cardio Exercises

Hrithik follows a tough workout session every day and follows the fitness regimen with discipline. His exercises comprise of cardio, stretching, power workout, etc., to give his body that athletic look with a muscular physique. He does his cardio exercises for at least 20-30 minutes.

2. Circuit Training

Circuit training involves a full body workout. The benefits of circuit training are muscle building and toning along with an intense cardio workout. It involves the functioning of different muscle groups and one can do 10-25 reps for about 20-30 minutes.

3. Arm Exercises

Hrithik makes it a point to do arm exercises that include straight arm dumbbell pullover, cable rope triceps extension, straight arm pull down, concentrated curls, etc. Arm exercises keep the arms in shape and prevent arm fat from forming.

4. A Healthy Alternative

Hrithik likes to be on a nutritious diet by trying out healthy alternatives. He eats pancakes with sugar-free syrup, made with protein powder. He has banana split with protein powder and yogurt and makes meatballs with ketchup.

5. Complex Carbohydrates

Hrithik is always on a complex carbohydrate diet because it consists of natural sugars and fibre. His complex carbohydrates mostly include brown rice, oatmeal and salads. He likes to keep it light and simple when it comes to eating food.

6. High Protein Diet

Proteins are required to build your muscles and prevent muscle damage after a workout. Hrithik includes a lot of protein in his diet like protein powder, steak, turkey, fish and egg whites. These foods increase muscle mass and improve physical activity.

7. Small Meals At Regular Intervals

Hrithik says that one should eat at regular intervals because it enhances your metabolism. As per his nutritionist, the actor has been advised to take food 6-7 times a day rather than going for 3 heavy meals. It will not only keep your food cravings under check but also will charge up your

A sound sleep is necessary for a healthy and fit body. The body needs adequate amount of rest as well to function properly. Having a good night's sleep will prevent weight gain and will help you to concentrate better in your daily tasks.

Hrithik is a foodie by nature and he loves chocolates, pizzas, ice creams and sweets. He skips his diet once in a week to indulge in his cravings; but he restores the balance by getting back to the workout regimen with proper dedication.
