Well, the problem is that most of us have misunderstood the term "dieting". To many of us laymen, dieting simply means cutting down of a huge amount of calories and food.
Some people even take it up a notch and almost starve themselves in order to lose weight quickly.

Many people have reported that they live on just a couple of fruit and vegetables a day, so that they can shed pounds in a jiffy!
While this habit may allow a person to lose weight quickly in the initial stages, it can slow down the metabolic rate and can also be extremely unhealthy for your system! And this is definitely not called "dieting".
There are some ways in which you can consume as much healthy food as you want, without sticking to a healthy diet and still lose weight. Check them out below.

Tip #1
Add proteins to your fruit smoothies, like flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, etc., as protein can help burn fat cells.

Add natural spices like Cajun pepper, turmeric, cayenne pepper, etc., to your diet, as these ingredients contain fat-eliminating enzymes.

If you are trying to lose weight, drink at least 3 litres of water per day, as water helps quicken your metabolic rate.

Add a lot of fruit and vegetables to your diet, as they are rich in fibre content that can help reduce the fat absorption capacity of the body cells.

Do not eliminate fats completely from your diet, as they are important for metabolism. Healthy fat-rich ingredients like avocado, coconut oil, etc. can be added to your diet.

Instead of cutting down on food and going into a starvation mode, try eating smaller portions of meals, multiple times a day in order to aid weight loss.

Lastly, no weight loss plan can be successful without exercise. So, along with following the above tips, you also need to exercise at least 40 minutes a day!
