Having a balanced diet is a must to lose weight and to get a flat stomach. For this you need not go too far, just a few changes in the food habit and you will be able to lose your belly fat at home.
If you have the habit of munching junk foods, oily foods or drinking lots of coffee, alcohol or soft drinks that are filled with artificial sweeteners then you should stop it immediately and take up healthy food habits.

1. Include Lots Of Vegetables:
Your every meal should comprise of vegetables, especially the green leafy ones. Vegetables contain a whole lot of nutrients and fibre. These help in preventing fat accumulation in the body, especially around the tummy.

2. Avoid Ghee & Butter:
Calorie-rich foods and fat, ghee and butter consumption should be strictly avoided if one is looking at getting a curvy figure.

3. Include Whole Grains:
Whole grains comprising of brown rice and ragi are rich in fibre that help in keeping one full for a longer time. So there is less chance for one to overeat.

4. Drink Lots Of Water:
Drinking lots of fluids (at least 3-4 litres of water) should be a must as this helps to flush out the toxins from the body and prevents accumulation of fat.

5. Include Nuts:
Including nuts like almonds and walnuts are beneficial. It consists of good fat that is required for the body and helps prevent cholesterol and bad fat deposits in the body.

6. Include Green Tea:
Having 2-3 cups of green tea actually helps in cutting down on tummy fat. It should be consumed half an hour after the meal.

7. Avoid Alcohol:
Consumption of excess alcohol should be avoided. It contains lots of calories which not just lead to excessive weight gain but also affect your skin texture.

8. Keep Away From Sugary Food Items:
Sugar contains lots of calories; hence, eating lots of food items containing sugar should be avoided.

9. Include Fresh Fruits:
Fresh fruits, especially the ones that are in season should be included in the daily diet. Rich in fibre, vitamins, calcium and a host of other nutrients, fresh fruits help prevent accumulation of fat and prevent weight gain.

10. Avoid Processed Food:
Processed foods contain lots of calories and other additives that only lead to weight gain. If you are looking out to have a curvy figure then you should avoid processed food.
