Potato pancake or potato dosa, is a tasty dish that can be prepared in a jiffy. This tasty and healthy recipe can be packed for lunch or served as breakfast. You can serve it to your kid the moment he returns from school.

Potato pancake recipe -

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 3 large (boiled and mashed)
  • Onion – 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • Dill – 1 small bowl (finely chopped)
  • Coriander – 1 small bowl (finely chopped)
  • Black pepper or finely chopped green chillies or red chilly powder (to spice up the potato dosa)
  • Cumin Powder – 1 teaspoon (roasted and ground)
  • Rice flour – 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat flour – 4 tablespoons
  • Egg – 1-2 (whipped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
  • Water (optional)

How to prepare potato pancake or potato dosa?

  • Mix together all the ingredients into a batter.
  • Add water to adjust the consistency.
  • Check seasoning.
  • Heat a tava and pour batter into small pancakes or dosa shapes.
  • Flip and cook on both sides.

Tasty potato pancakes are ready to be savoured. Serve it with coconut chutney or ketchup.
