Dry Fruit Jam Recipe – Christmas recipes
Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cup dried prunes
  2. 1 1/2 cup dried dates
  3. 4 cups tart apples (cored wedges)
  4. 1 1/2 cup dried apricots
  5. 1/2 cup walnut pieces
  6. 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  7. ' tsp anise seeds
  8. Pinch of cardamom and cinnamon powder
  9. 2 cups honey
  10. ¼ cup candied lemon and orange peel
  11. 2 tbsp lemon juice and orange juice

Preparing Dry Fruit Jam:
1. Add the tart apples in boiling water and cook until soft.
2. Mash them with a masher and pour onto a cheese cloth. Allow it to dip into a vessel.
3. In a separate bowl, club all the chopped dry fruit and add the apple mixture. Stir well and allow it to mix overnight.
4. Add 2 cups honey to 1 cup water and wait until the mixture boils. To this add the fruit mixture, candied lemon orange with the zest juice, nuts and spices.
5. Once the mixture starts becoming thick, turn off the stove and allow it to cool.
6. Place it in a glass air tight container. Tasty dry fruit jam is ready.
The sugar free jam can be tasted even by diabetic patients.
