We have not seen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan make too many public appearances ever since she came back from Cannes 2013. But yesterday, we got a surprise bonus. The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai wore a black gown at an event organised by the real estate giant, Lodhas. Of all the places, we saw Ash at a real estate event.

Aishwarya Rai wore a black gown at the launch of Lodha Masterplan District. The outfit was from designer duo Gauri and Nainika. The style of this Gauri and Nainika gown was very similar to a royal blue gown worn by Madhuri Dixit recently. Aishwarya Rai's black gown had a single shoulder. It also had frills that came down from the shoulder till the waist. Aishwarya Rai black gown was of the mermaid cut. It was tight till the knees and then flared out into a skirt.

Aishwarya looked rather festive in this frilly black gown. The wide frills that started from the bosom and came down to the waist helped to hide a few extra pounds that are still evident on Ash's post pregnant figure.

The black gown was a typical Gauri and Nainika creations. The frills and the mermaid cut have been seen in many other Gauri n Nainika gowns.

Aishwarya Rai's black gown had a single shoulder. One sleeve was slightly off-shoulder and the other shoulder was bare.

Aishwarya matched her black gown with long, slim and black cylindrical earrings. She also wore a V-shaped diamond ring on her finger.

Aishwarya did her hair in her trademark style. Her thick auburn hair was sude parted and the soft curls were allowed to fall loosely over her shoulders.

Nude Lipstick

Aishwarya did not put on too much makeup as the event was in day time. She used black kohl and a deep tan nude lipstick to highlight her facial features.
