Difference Between BB, CC & Tinted Moisturisers?
Foundation is a skin-coloured liquid that once applied on the face gives it a smooth finish, an even toned skin, which hides flaws.
But foundation can be too heavy for everyday usage. And sometimes, it can even feel too cakey at the end of the day.
Foundations, while being great for days when we want to go all out to look our very best, can be a little bit annoying to apply every day.

Foundation can be difficult to apply, which can be time consuming, messy, and too heavy for everyday wear. It can also cause breakouts if used a lot as well.
Recently, we have been seeing a lot of BB creams, CC creams and tinted moisturisers coming up in the market.

These claim to provide light-weight coverage and hide flaws, without the entire time-consuming ritual of dealing with a heavy foundation.
These provide the benefits of multiple products in one, like sunscreen, moisturiser and foundation. They are also less costly when compared to regular foundations, saving both time and money.
So, here's the difference between the three, which you ought to know about, in case you want to buy any of these, have a look.

BB Creams: BB creams are known as beauty balms, blemish balms or blemish bases. There is no strict adherence to just one name.
Different brands advertise their BB creams with different names. BB creams combine the benefits of a moisturiser, foundation and sunblock all in one, saving you from spending more money on a host of different products. It also saves time.
The finish provided by a BB cream is much more smoother and it also hides all flaws perfectly.

CC Creams: CC can stand for complexion care or colour correction, depending on the brand. CC creams have colour correction as their main function. They contain colour-correcting primers to beat any sort of redness or purple marks on the face along with hiding flaws.

They are lighter than BB creams in the finish and also come with an SPF. They provide a glowing finish because they are infused with tiny light diffusing particles, whereas a BB cream is only a foundation that is lighter.

Tinted Moisturiser: Tinted moisturisers are lighter forms of foundations with the added hydration of a moisturiser. They provide a sheer coverage and are not too great at covering flaws. For those like me, suffering from stubborn marks, this would not be a good idea. But if you have no pimples or acne problems, it will work great on your skin. BB and CC creams are just better with coverage and moisture.
That's all for the difference. Hope this post helps you break down your next purchase!
