How To Make Greasy Hair Look Perfect?
Not everyone has the time to wash hair every day. In fact, sometimes, we wish we could go days without a hair wash. However, hair tends to start looking greasy by the third or fourth day at the max.
For those of us with a really oily scalp, it might happen sooner.
Too much hair washing can strip the hair of its natural oils, making the hair appear dry, dull and brittle. And yet, not washing it for too long can make it look kind of gross.

The first thing to know about making greasy hair last is to know how to wash it properly. Ever wondered why hair feels smoother after a salon wash?
No, it's not about the products they are using. The trick is to first rinse your hair with warm water to open up the cuticles and then to apply a bit of conditioner on the ends and finally rinse it off.
This prevents the ends from getting drier. We should only be shampooing the roots, anyway, as that's where the hair is newest and tends to get oily.
The ends are mostly old, and are dry and dull. When you condition after the wash, the conditioner should not get near the scalp, as this would contribute to the scalp getting oilier.

The final rinse should always be with cold water. Now that you know how to shampoo correctly, read on for some tips on how to make greasy hair look great!

Baby Powder: Baby powder is a lifesaver for third-day hair. Just dust on some baby powder on to your scalp. Don't worry, it won't show through and make it look like you have white hair. Your scalp will absorb the baby powder, and the powder will absorb excessive oil, making sure that the hair does not get too oily.

Dry Shampoo: A dry shampoo works exactly like how the baby powder does, except that it usually comes in a spray bottle, making it more easier to blend in to the hair. It may be costlier than a baby powder, but having dry shampoo around is of great help for those busy days.

High Bun: A high bun is a saviour of greasy hair days. Tie your hair into a high ponytail and make a fishtail braid. Then tie the entire thing into a bun. The fishtail braid can make it look like the hair has a lot of volume.

A scarf: Use a scarf as a headband or a wrap at the crown of your head to hide greasy hair and tie the rest of the hair into a messy bun. That should do you a great bit of help!
There, I hope these tips save you time on your busy, greasy hair days! Try these tips the next time you're having a bad, greasy hair day!
