Hair Braiding Styles For Beautiful Maidens- Part I

Cornrows : Cornrows is a more recent style of hair braiding that lies flat against the scalp. They are often braided in much thinner rows as the tresses are woven under one another. The thinner styles require more braids and more time in consuming than the thicker ones. Here is the Step by Step instruction for this unique hair braiding:
Part the hair into two sections. Larger the section, the thicker your braid will be. Clip off the rest of your hair.
Let the sectioned of hair be free of tangles and grab a smaller section of that hair as near to the hairline as possible.
Separate the smaller section into three strands. You should have a left strand, middle strand, and right strand.
Take the strand on the left and cross it underneath the middle strand. The left strand should now be the middle strand. Next, take the strand on the right and cross it underneath the middle strand. The right strand should now be the middle strand.
As you continue to braid downward, be sure to drop the hair you started with while picking up the rest of the hair that is sectioned off. Place a rubber band around the end.
You should end up with one completed corn rowed section of hair. Remove the clips from the rest of your hair.
Part off a new section of hair for your next braid, once you complete braiding this section of hair. Continue these steps with the rest of your hair until you have finished your entire head of hair.
Single Braids : Single braids Suit longer hair and braided in small sections from the scalp. This can also be done in a variety of widths. Follow the instructions to adorn single braids for your long hair.
Brush your dry hair through to remove tangles.
Sweep it back into the nape and divide it into 3 equal sections.
Take 2 of the sections in your left hand separated with one of your fingers and the third section in your right hand.
Then take your right hand over the top of the middle section. This will leave you with 2 sections in your left hand as before.
Now cross the outside section that is in your left hand over the new middle section. You can use your right hand to grab this and bring it across, leaving you with 2 sections in your right hand.
Now pass the section from outside right, over the middle. You should now have the beginnings of the plait.
Keep on crossing right over center and then left over center. When you reach the ends of your hair, secure it with a covered band.
