Chinese actor Jet Li has introduced a new system of exercise called 'Wuji', which is a blend of martial-arts moves with yoga positions.
The martial-arts superstar attended a press conference in Shanghai on July 6 to promote the exercise, Sina.com.cn reports.
For Li, the healthy balance between exercises for one's body and mind is what he considers as having made an important contribution to his success.
With finding the perfect balance for himself, he now wants to help others find it also, and at the press conference Li and some other fitness professionals demonstrated the exercise with several hundred body builders on site.
The 45-year-old actor believes that Wuji can help long-term practitioners reach tiptop conditions both physically and mentally.
With joint creation by Jet Li and sportswear brand Adidas, Wuji also inaugurated a three-year-long cooperation between the two to promote new fitness concepts among urban Chinese.
