Akshaya Tritiya is the third tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakha. It is an auspicious day celebrated pan India by Hindus and Jains. Akshaya means "never-decreasing," and any good karma done on this day gives you manifold results. You could also try to put yourself on the path of liberation and start your efforts towards it on this day as it helps you spiritually as well.

People give away things in charity to put an end to their bad karma on this day. Worshipping and fasting are necessary rituals to be done as it conveys abundant grace from god to you. In order to fetch the complete beneficial results, you must perform some rituals that aid you in your quest.
Rituals
Puja
Puja is an indispensable part of any spiritual ritual. Meditations and tapasya are the extended part of worship rituals. Certain rituals, come with their own set of instructions, such as Dos and Don'ts. Adhere to them to get favourable outcome. Start the day with cleaning the house, or you could choose to clean the house the day before. Wake up at Brahmi Muhurta, complete your morning rituals, and wear fresh clean clothes. Now you can sit in your puja room, and keep ready some Tulsi leaves. Prasadam and flowers to do the puja.
Donation
You could donate water with betel nut to a Brahmin. If you donate someone a mattress and a cot, it gives you life long prosperity as the result. Giving clothes to the needy increases your longevity. Donating sandalwood destroys all misfortunes surrounding your life, especially mishaps like accidents. You can also donate other stuff like umbrella coconut etc on this day,.
Laxmi Puja and Vishnu Puja
Goddess Lakshmi is the governess of wealth and Lord Vishnu conserves it. You cant worship only one of them. As per shastras, you must worship Lakshmi Narayana together. It offers the twin benefits of accumulating and preserving wealth. Your property will be protected and your household, will experience happiness and prosperity.
Gau Puja
Kamadhenu was a celestial cow that is worthy of worship. Gau means cow. Hindus hold the Gau puja as highly significant. Kamadhenu was a holy cow that fulfilled all desires of men. They represent the Planet Venus who is by nature, warm natured and loving. Or you can donate some eatables to the cow which the cow can eat and digest.
Ashwa Puja
Horse is worshipped for its positivity, luck, and vitality. The seven headed flying horse Ucchaishravas was born along with Goddess Lakshmi during the Oceanic churn. So both are siblings. This horse was handed over to Indra, the lord of the celestials. It is the predecessor to our earthly horses which deserve to be regarded with the same respect. Worshipping the horse will impart similar characteristics in the devotee.
Gaja Puja
Airavatha was an other byproduct of the great oceanic churn that happened in the past. Gaja means elephant and this divine elephant Airavatha was given to Indra. In Lakshmi's photo you can see her surrounded by two elephants holding a lotus to her. Ganesha is also a elephant headed God. There is an ancient belief according to which humans incarnate as elephants before being born as humans. Elephants are very evolved, almost as evolved as human beings. They display human emotions and intelligence as well. Worshipping an elephant is known to remove hindrances from your path just the way an elephant clears the obstacles on its path and carves its own way. Of course, Ganesha's blessings will be upon you as well.
