Akshay Triteeya was the day Draupadi was blessed with unlimited number of clothes to cover her modesty when Dushasana, the brother of Duryodhana, the pandava opponent, was trying to disrobe her. It was the day of Akshaya Tritiya on which she was mistreated beyond unbearable limits. Lord Krishna heard her pleas and provided her with ample clothes from where he was staying at that time, from Dwaraka.
