When you are in love with someone, you tend to do everything for him. There is joy in it. But when it comes to marriage, it is better to be open about needs, expectations and roles. Otherwise, you may be the victim in the long run.
Of course, there is no need to fight with your husband on this. But how about convincing him to play an active role in running the house?

In fact, that would be more fun, right? When you and your husband play your roles with excitement and love, life would be more beautiful, right? That's exactly what you need to do. Otherwise, you might end up doing too much for him and he might turn lazy. Here are some examples.

Though you are busy with your job, you don't let him do anything. Even when you are ill, you do all the household tasks and allow him to rest. Well, loving your husband is a good thing but if you do everything and never allow him to do anything at home, you are giving him a wrong message. It is like telling him that you don't have any expectations from him. You don't need to force him to do anything, but when you need support, you should be able to get it. Communicate your needs well.

In any relationship, if one works too hard, the other one will turn lazy. So, it is better to talk about your expectations with your husband. You don't need to pester him or nag him to clean the house. But ensure that he too does something to feel involved in running the house.
