Every Man Wants A Superwoman

What a man wants in a woman is very subjective; it varies from man to man. Men love women of many types. Some like hot women, some the domestic types and others the intelligent girls. However, an increasing number of modern men want much more than these qualities in their prospective wives. Men don't want normal women anymore, they want superwoman.

A superwoman is not really a super hero but a woman who has superlatives qualities. She would be someone who earns just as well as him, is a gourmet cook, is a champion sports-person, sings like a nightingale and is a super-mom to the kids! If there could be such a woman, men would love it.

Here are some points to prove that every man is eventually looking for a superwoman when in comes choosing a wife.

Plays Her Role: When you take a close look at the roles that men and women play in a family, then you realise that is the role of a woman that has changed majorly. The man was always expected to work and he does. But the woman, who had to look after the home now has the added responsibilities of education, occupation and social life. So it is a woman who takes on additional responsibilities after marriage, not the man.

Men Hate Responsibility: The traditional values of marriage and family are now being broken. Men are no more the sole breadwinners for the family. In fact, they see themselves as independent because their wives support themselves. Thus men love women who can take care of themselves.

Home Manager: The age old cliche of a pregnant, barefoot woman and in the kitchen might have been broken. But does that mean that men have taken over the role of the home-maker. Not really. Even if you are a successful career woman, your man wants to take care of his home just as well.

The Spark In His Life: Just because you are earning your own money and managing his home, doesn't mean that you have given your man everything. You have to be the spark and inspiration of his life. As they say, there is a woman behind every successful man. He will expect you to take part in his success and encourage him.

Super-Mom To The Kids: Its all fine till its just the two of you. But when you start a family, your man will once again expect you to take on additional responsibilities. You are still a working woman, a home-maker and an active part of his social life; but now you are also mom. So the superwoman has to make sure that her kids are well brought up. If the kids do do not fare well, it is always made out to be the mother's fault.

What men want from marriage is perfection which is impossible without superhuman qualities. Men think of a woman as marriage material, only when she is superwoman. Do you think this is fair for men to want superwomen when they themselves cannot become supermen?
