Can You Give Birth Without Delivery Pain?

Now the question will arise that how is it possible to avoid labor pain, something that has been part of the child bearing experience from the time recorded history began or even before that. The answer lies in science. Various therapies are now available to reduce the pain of a woman in labor.
How to give Birth Without Pain?
1. Epidural: This technique uses local anesthesia to reduce delivery pain. It is the most commonly practiced these days and invaluably effective. This procedure makes use of the fact that pain is a sensation we feel from our brain. Delivery pain begins around your back and spreads to to vaginal opening as the baby pushes its way out. But what if the nerves from your lower back are unable to carry the message saying 'pain' to your brain. A tube is inserted in your back and an anesthetic solution is injected into it. It numbs the lower half of your body to the pain. All you feel is a pressure when your baby pops out! Some detractors say that epidural causes back pain after deliver but statistical data proved that that happens even after any kind of delivery due to strain.
3. Hypnotherapy: All the pain we feel is mainly psychological. Delivery pain is no different in that respect. We anticipate pain and that makes it worse. Hypnosis can help you relax in such situations. Many hospitals these days employ experts who can teach the expectant mother self-hypnosis so that they can calm themselves. It drastically reduces anxiety, helps breathe better and prevents the mother from wailing with pain; that makes the birth easier.
It is still not possible to eliminate pain during labor absolutely but these methods are a huge step in that direction.
