After those 9 months of weight gain and pampering, you now want that extra fat to melt and come down immediately. We can understand the impatience that new mothers have for weight loss. Take Short Naps (Sleep A Little)

You must sleep a little during the day, as this will compensate for the lost sleep during night. Your baby can awaken you during the wee hours, and it is difficult to get back to sleep. This makes you gain more weight, as you get cravings for unhealthy foods.


Don't Starve Yourself

Dieting after pregnancy can be harmful for you and your baby, as you produce enough of breast milk and it wont be that nutritious to diet. Dieting immediately after pregnancy can make you gain more weight rather than losing it.


Optimise Your Diet

If you think that you are overeating then you must break your food into two portions. Eat the first portion and wait for 15 to 20 minutes then surprisingly you won't feel the urge to eat the second portion. This happens because it takes sometime for your brain to realise that you are full.


Take A Walk
