How do parents cope with losing a child? It is beyond imagination of any human being unless you have gone through it. Coping with death of a baby can be very difficult for the parents. Mothers could also go through guilt and various other emotions.

Husband need to stay by their side and let them know that it was not their fault. Friends and family should be equally supportive, they should be able to talk to the parents and find out their emotions and feelings as this is another way on how parents can cope with losing a child.

The best way on how parents can cope with losing a child is by just talking out their grief. This will help you feel better rather than bottling up all the emotions. Parents should be able to find relief in talking to others, if they are not able to; they need to seek help of a counsellor.

Take time off work
It is better if you are able to find out how you want to deal with the grief. There is no shame in taking a few days off work. Parents can cope with death of baby, either by going for work and burying themselves in the daily routine or by just simply sitting at home finding one interesting hobby.

Faith
Another option on how do parents cope with losing a child can be by turning towards their faith. If they find comfort in their beliefs or by just performing a ritual, then they should go ahead and do it. Parents can also talk to a senior members of the family to help them overcome grief through faith.

Not Anyone’s fault
When parents are coping with death of baby, they should be able to understand that this is not their fault and that they have to stop blaming themselves for it. This can happen only if your spouse is also supportive.

Spouse grieving differently
