During Diwali it is important to keep kids safe. The fumes and the sparkles emitted from firecrackers are harmful to health and can cause several health issues too. Avoid Crowed Area - Not only children, but adults too should avoid bursting crackers in crowded areas. One should burn firecrackers only in open areas like grounds and fields.

Terrace Areas - Children should not be left alone to burst crackers. They should not visit a terrace region too, as rockets and flying crackers can scare them. If the family is bursting crackers on the terrace, make sure that the child is in eye's reach and close to a parent.

Watch Them Burn Crackers - Allow children to burn crackers, but also make sure that a parent is standing beside them. This will prevent protect the child and give a sense of security. If the child is small, a parent should hold their hand and help them burn the firecracker.
