Sun damage can affect even adults which simply means that children are more vulnerable. This is why protecting your child from the sun needs special attention.
How To Help A Child With Nightmares
Toddlers are especially vulnerable and may develop skin issues fast. Whether you are staying at home or planning to take your baby out along with you, it is important to know what to do and what not do as sun exposure can prove to be very dangerous.
Smoking And Drinking After Pregnancy

How To Protect Your Child From The Sun

Limit The Exposure
It is better to make your baby stay indoors from 11 am and 3 pm as the sun rays tend to be too intense during those times. Avoiding those times would be the best way to limit sun exposure. Prevention is always a lot better than cure.

When You Go Out...
Parked cars generally heat up fast and therefore, it isn't advisable to leave your baby in a parked car when you are busy shopping. Take your child along with you wherever you go to ensure that you offer proper protection.
Hydrate
On a hot day, hydrate your baby with sips of water at regular intervals. Carry a water bottle with you, if you are taking your baby out with you. Without hydration, it would be tough to handle the sun.

Choose Comfy Clothes
Use loose clothes to clothe your baby on hot days. Choose cotton clothes for your baby. Sometimes, the fabric or material of the clothes can also affect the body temperature or its regulation.
Get Sunglasses And Sunscreen
If possible, get a pair of sunglasses for your kid. Consult a dermatologist who can prescribe a sunscreen suitable for your baby's delicate skin.
