A Muslim Doll To Teach Quarnic Arabic

A talking Muslim doll has been designed to help Asian immigrant children in UK to learn Quranic Arabic. Developed by a former Goldman Sachs banker, the 18-inch high soft doll, speaks various Islamic phrases such as "As-Salamu Alaikum," the traditional Islamic greeting.
There is a boy doll named Yousuf and a girl doll named Aamina. They speak essential Quarnic words, phrases and surahs (prayers) and translate the Arabic sentences into English. These dolls essentially make the religious and language study interesting for the kids.
Desi Doll Company, founded by Farzana Rahman makes the dolls. A former Goldman Sachs banker develops the dolls. The Muslim doll is set to go on sale next month in Asda, the supermarket chain which retails food, clothing, toys and general merchandise. They will cost 24.99 pounds.
