Myth 1: One classic pregnancy myth is that if a pregnant woman is carrying high it is said that she will deliver a baby boy, or otherwise a baby girl. But, there has been no scientific basis to the theory. It is said that usually the pregnant women carry low during or after their eighth month as the baby starts moving closer to the pelvic region for delivery.
Myth 2: Another pregnancy myth is that women are said to undergo severe pain during full moon which till date isn't scientifically proven.
Myth 3: This being one of the most untrue facts says that a couple who mate in the evenings have all chances of delivering a baby boy, an unbelievably funny myth.
Myth 4: If the pregnant woman looks more beautiful after she got pregnant then it is said that she will deliver a baby girl.
Myth 5: It is said that the more the pregnant women asks for tangy food, the more there are chances of her giving birth to a baby boy which has no basis in pregnancy science.
Myth 6: The stretch marks are the common resultant of delivery says a myth without any evidence as many don't get it at all.
Myth 7: Some say that the tighter dresses the lady wears post labor pain the slimmer she gets but it hasn't been proved.
Myth 8: One of the well known pregnancy myth is that the baby girl will usually look like her father while the baby boy has more chances of looking like his mother.
