Does Breast Milk Boost Brain Growth?
Here is another reason to feed babies with breast milk- it could boost the growth and development of the baby's brain. Yes, a new study claims that breast milk has the natural ability to boost brain development.

Generally, babies who are born before their actual due date tend to have certain under developed areas in their brain and breast milk could surely help them, say researchers.

Researchers used MRI scans to detect the brain development in some babies. When two groups were studied closely, researchers found that the ones who are fed with breast milk displayed brains that are comparatively larger in volume.

The volume of the brain also impacts the cognitive faculties. Researchers closely observed more than 70 preterm babies who were fed with breast milk.

Putting aside this research, there are so many other health benefits if mothers feed their babies with breast milk.

So, this study has come up with another major benefit of feeding babies with breast milk. As the growth and development of the brain of babies plays a very important role in the quality of life that is experienced by the kid, it is important to consider the findings of this research.
