Healthy Diet Tips For Newborns

As the infants sleep almost the entire day, they wake up only when need food or hint parents on diaper change. So since they eat very little, they need to be fed with proper diet that helps in their development. Here are food types that is exclusively for the babies.

The prime diet of the newborns is breast milk. Breast milk, according to pediatrics and diet experts, is the best baby food. The breast milk contains antibodies, vitamins and nutrients that helps in the baby's growth as well as prepares the body to fight diseases.
Newborns are into eating at regular intervals as their diet is mostly liquids and will not fill stomach for long. new mum need to make a note of the intervals and provide food at the time. The baby cues will hint mothers if the baby is hungry. If the newborn is not satisfied, it will cry and fuss around. According to the pediatricians, feeding babies when hungry is better than sticking on to the time table as it depends from day to day. The dietary needs of the newborns change as they grow.
The newborns eat about 60 -120 grams in their first month. In their second they eat about 150 - 180 grams and 200 grams.
Other Supplements:
For vitamin D and E, massaging them with the vitamin oil and taking them to early morning sun will help.
Avoid solid food for newborns as it may lead to unwanted weight gain, digestive problems etc. Also feeding with cow's milk can be healthy for the baby.
