Gold, Silver Rates Today Flat: Yellow and White Metal Slip in February From All-Time High
Despite today's stability, gold has slipped nearly 1.77% so far in February. Silver, on the other hand, has witnessed sharper volatility. After crossing an all-time high of Rs 4 lakh per kilogram in January, silver prices have fallen about 21.43% within just 15 days in February.

On February 15, 2026, the silver rate in India stands at Rs 2,750 per 10 grams, Rs 27,500 per 100 grams, and Rs 2,75,000 per kilogram, remaining flat in today's trade.
"We would need to see a combination of sharp USD weakness, aggressive rate cuts, sustained central bank buying, high inflation fears, and a major geopolitical or financial shock, as gold typically performs best when real interest rates fall and uncertainty rises," said Ross Maxwell, Global Strategy Operations Lead at VT Markets.
