CK One To Soon Launch Cosmetics

Calvin Klein always makes news for it brands, promotions or creativity. But lets remind you of the 1999 'CK One' campaign that was very unusual and groundbreaking strategy. The Ck One advertisement displayed a set of email addresses to attract teens. When the teens mailed to these addresses, they would become a part of the mailing list that sent mails with information on popular models and their lives. The strategy is still used by many brand promoters and retailers.

And if you have wondering that why are we talking about the decade old story, there is definitely a connection. Calvin Klein, the always No:1 is planning to launch cosmetics through 'CK One'. The perfume brand which became very popular in the nineties.

The cosmetics collection will include “3-in-1 Makeup”. According to Tom Murry, president and chief executive officer of Calvin Klein Inc, the launch of the beauty product is very fresh and ideal for the youth, who he calls independent consumers.

Lara Stone is the ambassador for CK One cosmetics. You will definitely be reminded of her infamous billboard (with the F-word).

CK One recently launched a new fragrance for summer 2012, it's called CK Summer One. The fragrance is fresh, fun and fruity, smells like a cocktail. The collection is available for both men and women.

The speciality of CK Summer One is the usual fragrance. The top portion has notes of blue mint, cucumber, lime and bergamot, mid/ heart being green apple, rosemary, lotus and base of sandalwood, driftwood, rum and sea moss.
