The most expensive wedding was thrown by Lakshmi Mittal who is the third richest man in this world. The wedding of his daughter, Vanisha, in 2004 was a huge event. The first sign that it was going to be something special was the wedding invitation.
Mittals" invitations were no ordinary piece of stationery. Each invitation was 20 pages in length and included verses written by members of the family. What really set the invitations apart was that they were encased in silver. The Mittals" guest list included 1,200 people! In the end, Mittal reportedly spent million on the wedding celebration.
Most expensive wedding bouquet
World's most expensive wedding bouquet belongs to Vietnam. This bouquet is made of 90 gemstones, 9 diamonds, and 1 star-shaped ruby. The glittering bouquet has made its way into the Vietnamese Guinness Book of Records for the most expensive collection of gemstones and flowers. The prize of the creation is 5,000 USD. The bouquet is displayed on the 6th floor of the Ruby Plaza, one of Vietnam"s largest trade centers.

Mimi So Jewelers teamed up with cake designer Nahid La Patisserie Artisitique to create the world"s most expensive cake baking in at million dollars. This cake contained many unique items including diamonds and was displayed at the Luxury Brands Bridal Show in Beverly Hills on October 22, 2006.

The diamond wedding gown is made for the Bride and Martin Katz Jewelers and is littered with too many diamond to shake a stick at. The dress features featuring a stunning 150 carats worth of diamonds laced throughout it. The world"s most expensive wedding gown was premier at the Luxury Brands Lifestyle Bridal show in February of 2006.
