Deccan Odyssey
;The luxury train Deccan Odyssey is developed on the lines of the world-famous 'Palace on Wheels' to enhance the growth of tourism on the Konkan route. Deccan Odyssey started its maiden journey from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Mumbai on January 16th, 2004. The sleek blue luxury train has a total of 21 air-conditioned luxury coaches. The other modern amenities on board include cyber cafe, 13 fully air-conditioned deluxe saloons, a gymnasium, 6-channel music, mobile phone, TV, DVD and a massage-cum-beauty parlor among many others. Owing to the spa's popularity on the Deccan Odyssey, the government has recently announced for more spas in all its upcoming luxury trains too. The restaurants serve a range of Indian, Continental, Maharashtrian, Goa and Chinese cuisines. It also has the facilities of doctors, they are on the board the very next station form the call.
