The Girl Who Did Not Cut Her Nails For 3 Years!
She simply did not wish to cut her nails until she realised that she is being controlled by her nails, as she needed to avoid doing things that could break them. Read this bizarre story!
Girls love to grow nails and paint them. They invest a lot of time in these sessions. But Simone Taylor has a unique craze, as she loves her nails to such an extreme that she has not cut them since 3 long years!
Check out the story of Simone Taylor who is obsessed with her growing nails that she does not wish to cut them and she does not mind changing her daily tasks that involve less of stressing on the nails.

How It All Started…
When questioned about the same, Simone said, "It wasn't my intention to grow them so long, but as they grew, so did the amount of compliments and they became more and more a part of me". She also added, "During my first year, I always thought to myself, ‘I'm gonna cut them tomorrow,' but I never did."
Her Addiction Began…
She decided to watch some tutorials and learn on how to paint her nails in the early 2014. She said, "I guess you could say my addiction began that day, and I've been scared of nail clippers ever since."
She Added…
"PE is a huge problem, though," she continued. "I can't play volleyball, basketball or anything similar. My PE teachers are always trying to convince me to cut my nails. They'll never succeed to convince me - but that makes my grades in PE really bad."
She Is 16 Now And Her Struggles List Is Quite Long…
It's 3 years since she has been growing her nails and she has her own struggles! She finds it painful to hold a pen and also struggles to write during exams. She has also learnt how to use her knuckles to type on the computer, which can be a problem for the student.
It's A 3-hour Long Process
Simone claimed that it takes up to a whopping three hours long session to paint her nails. This includes applying two base coats and a top coat. To clean them, she needs an hour-and-a-half to remove the polish.

She Strengthens Them Using...
To strengthen her nails, Simone uses two coats of nail hardener and also applies cuticle oil every time she paints them. To keep them hygienic, she cleans the undersides with a cotton bud every day.
She Has Been Asked Different Hilarious Questions
She is used to bizarre looks and questions in these 3 years. She added,"Funnily enough, a lot of people ask the toilet question when they see my nails for the first time, showering is a bit more difficult. Sometimes my nails get caught in my hair, so I have to be extra careful."
Her Nail Broke Only Once In These 3 Years…
She said, "My friends and I were climbing a gate that was stuck, and as I jumped down, my middle finger nail got stuck in the metal and broke. I started crying and remember screaming, ‘Why my nail? Anything but my nail."
