Women have a set of errant behaviour that stands out at public places. There are certain things that women should not do in public places. For example, breastfeeding in public places is something that is seen in very bad taste. Yet many women do this in public causing embarrassment to other people around them.

Many other bizarre habits of women can draw attention towards them in public. Women are soft targets for harassment these days and thus they should be extra careful to maintain some basic decorum at public places. That is why, it is best for women to not do certain things in public.

Here are some of the things women should avoid doing in public.

Use any glass surface as mirrors
Some women have the silly habit of using any available reflecting surface as a mirror. They check out themselves on the dark glasses of cars, shaded building and even on the back of a spoon! When women do such things in public, it only proves that they are narcissists.

Adjust bra
Some women adjust their bra in full public view without realising that people are watching them. Not only it looks vulgar, but some lecherous thugs might even take this as an invitation. So if you bra is slipping, go into a public toilet and adjust it.

Apply makeup sitting on a park bench
Many women treat park and sidewalk benches as their personal makeup room. They sit on benches with elaborate makeup cosmetics and touch up their makeup. This looks silly and pretentious to passer-bys.

Breastfeed baby in public
It is really in bad taste to breastfeed your baby in public places. This is one of the most vulgar things women do in public. It may be urgent to feed your baby when you are travelling, but all malls and restaurants have feeding rooms these days. So just slip into one to breastfeed your baby.

Sit cross-legged while wearing a skirt
Some women do not realise how they are sitting in public. When you are wearing skirts, especially short skirts, avoid sitting cross-legged. This because, when you sit cross-legged wearing a skirt, your inners may get visible.

Hop a lift with their legs
Asking for a lift is an art. But sometimes, being too good at this art can get you into trouble. There is a stereotype that women extend their slender legs on the road to ask for a lift. This can lead to dangerous implications if the person offering lift has bad intentions.

Love talk in a crowded place
When you sweet-talk with your boyfriend in a crowed bus, everyone around you can hear. This is one of the worst things women do in public. Never talk about personal things in public places. It is a display of terrible manners.

Combing hair
It is bad enough to comb your hair standing in a public place. What is worse is is to disperse the stray hair over there. Combing hair at public places, especially where peopel are eating is unhygeinic and should be strictly avoided.
