'Loneliness' – The Curse Of Technology

We are so engulfed in the world made of technology that we don't even realize our dependency on that. It has got the world closer but at the same time enabled distance communication which wipes off the need to visit that close one with whom we chat on net.
Video games have cast a spell on us. We don't see the need to go out to the ground in the evening to meet friends and play.
Can you right down all your feeling in word? 'Love You', written on the mail and the same words said by your lover holding your hand, is different, isn't it?
You can see your mum in web cam but can you touch her? Can you feel her warmth? The answer is 'no'.
Our need for a better living, a better lifestyle and luxury has taken us away from our root and also made us busy in the rat race. At this time, technology is the only source which enables us to contact and it is so well equipped that it is blurring the need of physical presence.
A research has proved that most of the working people after their office timings, are glued to social networking sites, till the time they sign off for the day. Meeting with friends, family and socializing have become a forgotten phenomenon. This is leading to the feeling of isolation by the family. Loneliness is a technological curse.
Recently Britain witnessed a lot of cases of working men, complaining of stress. When psychiatrists probed into the reason, it was the feeling of being isolated. The doctors asked them about their lifestyle and noticed that they spend very less time with the family. The reason is social networking.
Technology is helping us to communicate but at the cost of our relations. It is very necessary to strike the right balance.
