Review:Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone (Fiction)
The 30th June of 1997 initiated a major facet of literature that was going to reach all the nook and corner of the World. The day marked the publication of first book of the renowned Harry Potter series that millions of people all over the world was going to carry in their hearts.
J.K.Rowling's Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone was published in London on 30th June 1997 by the Bloomsbury Publishers. Its immediate popularity made the publishers to release the book in United States under the title Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
The main story of the book takes place during the period of 1991-1992. The novel gives a prologue in the first chapter when the time period is supposed to be 1981. The wizard world celebrates the disappearance of the dark wizard Lord Voldemort, who mysteriously lost his power while attempting to kill baby Harry Potter.
