How Did It Start Off?
The shape of the state was different, until the it was divided into two parts. On June 2014, Telangana became India's 29th state. This apparently came into existence after it separated itself from Andhra Pradesh.

The unique image of the state went viral after a Reddit user posted the map online and it reached various social media websites like Facebook and Twitter. Netizens shared opinions on how the outline of the state resembled that of a male part and in no time, the image got viral with outrageous comments flowing in.

The picture posted was from an event to promote business in the state. It was titled as ‘Andhra Pradesh Investment Meet 2017' that took place in Visakhapatnam recently.
