LFW 2014: Shruti Sancheti Presents Pinnacle
Mood set by Pratima Pandey's 'Prama' was one of sobriety with its tartan prints and white layered silk kurtas. But Shruti Sancehti's collection for LFW 2014 changed the mood to a festive one immediately. Colours, colours and more colours was our first impression from Shruti Sancheti's 'Pinnacle' collection while we tried to take in the forms displayed on the ramp.
This was easily the most colourful collection displayed at Lakme Fashion Week 2014. Shrui Sancheti's collection was fiesta of ikat and pochampally silks. The checked prints on the pochampally silks were easily recognised. Ikat was used in the form of anarkali silhouettes, skirts and kurtas.

There were beautifully flared maxi gowns and Indian silhouettes that completely stole the show. The colours galore were all bright including shocking pink, bright blue, red and black. The designs were very wearable and there was no need for signature accessories to make these gorgeous clothes look any more beautiful.
The mix of pochampally and ikat has given these outfits their unique texture. We loved the hairdo and the richness of the colours in this collection at LFW 2014. The showstoppers outfit was sharara jacket. Shruti Sancheti relied on stunning colour blocking techniques to make her designs work.
