Chitrangada & Aditi In Ditto Varun Bahl Gown
Chitrangada Singh was seen in a Varun Bahl gown recently at the launch of a mobile phone in Delhi. She looked quite elegant in this white lace gown. The full sleeved maxi gown had sheer sleeves and intricate lace work on it. The embroidery was floral in motifs and Chitrangada managed to carry the look rather well.
We, however, think that the red lip colour was a way too glaring for the gown. This delicate gown would have fared better with nude coloured lips or an enamel pink tint. Another major gripe with this look was the untamed hair. Chitrangada Singh looks good in this Varun Bahl gown but she could have looked much better if she had a decent hairstyle. Her loose locks made the look messy and it somehow did not click.

But the main factor is that we have seen this gown from Varun Bahl's Lakme Fashion Week 2014 collection more than once before. Just a couple of days back, Shraddha Kapoor was in a Varun Bahl dress on the sets of KBC to promote 'Haider'. Shraddha's fit and flare white lace dress had the same pattern as this gown as it was from the same collection.

The ditto saga takes us a few steps backwards to the September 2014 cover of the Verve magazine. Aditi Rao Hydari wore the same Varun Bahl gown for the cover spread. However, her hairdo and makeup were much better than Chitrangada. The statement earrings also made a difference to the look. Chitrangada Singh in this Varun Bahl gowns fails to impress as much as she should have.
