Why Is Kate Middleton Shopping Antiques?

The Duchess of Cambridge is six months pregnant now and seems to be in the pink of health. After a difficult early pregnancy, Kate Middleton seems to be feeling much better in the second half of her gestational period. That is why, we have seen Kate Middleton shopping for a number of errands lately. Last month, Kate Middleton went out shopping for baby clothes.

But this time, her shopping expedition has nothing to do with the baby. Kate Middleton went shopping for antiques last week. Accompanied by some friends, the Duchess was seen in one of the premiere antique shops in London looking out for furniture and other knick-knacks. So, is Kate Middleton's baby's nursery going to have a classical style? How would the antiques fit into a baby's nursery? That is really left to see.

The Princess arrived at the Mews Antique Emporium with a friend. She looked through the entire collection but did not purchase anything. If eye witness accounts are to be believed, then Kate Middleton was actually window shopping because she did not buy a thing! Kate Middletons' shopping expedition also took her and her friends to other antique stores in Holt and Norfolk.

Apparently, Kate Middleton is decorating her new house now. Prince William and Kate are all set to move into a new home this autumn. They have renovated a spacious apartment in the Kensington Palace where they intend to live. Kate Middleton will have her baby in the new home and raise the heir to the royal family with her Prince. Kate Middleton new house could also be their country home in Amner which is about 25 to 30 kilometers outside of London.

So was the shopping expedition for the new home in town or the country house. We don't know that yet. But we can surely say that the Duchess has an eye for classic antiques and arts. She is sure to decorate both her homes and the baby's nursery in a very tasteful manner.
