Hollywood Couples: Splits n Romances This Week
As the saying goes, the relationship status of celebrities changes faster than the weather. This week, we have some alarming news from two sensational Hollywood couples. Both the news items will shock you out of your wits. One of these Hollywood couples are splitting after a long marital life and the other had just started romancing each other!
The two Hollywood couples in question are Sandra Bullock-George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones with husband Michael Douglas. The big news is that Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are currently having a romantic vacation in Lake Como, Venice. Well, its not quite as direct as that. The two popular celebrities are promoting their movie Gravity at the Venice Film Festival 2013.
But don't be disheartened, there is more. This little trip to Venice is much more than a business trip. We all know that George Clooney owns a lake home at Lake Como. So instead of checking into a hotel, Sandra Bullock headed straight to George Clooney's lakeside home on a water jetty. They two are currently putting up in the same house! We can say from experience that Sandra Bullock is too old and not exotic enough from George Clooney (judging by his past girlfriends). But the two surely make a striking couple. Lets pray that this short vacation turns into a long relationship.
On the other hand, long time Hollywood couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are now officially separated. The couple have been married for 13 years. They have gone through difficult times that include Michael Douglas's throat cancer and Catherine Zeta-Jones bi-polar disorder. And just when we thought that nothing could go wrong with this happily married couple, there is trouble in the paradise.
Although no official divorce has been filed yet, the two are staying separately to 'sort out marriage difficulties'. Nobody really knows what went wrong with the couple but another high profile divorce seems imminent. And as far Catherine is concerned, she will walk away as a gainer. As is the case with celebrity divorces, Michael Douglas is worth at least four times Catherine and will get a hefty settlement from the divorce.
This wedding was one of the most expensive ones in Hollywood and the divorce promises to be just as expensive.
