DCW 2013: Kalki Dazzles In Gaurav Gupta
The last day of DCW 2013 was quite busy. Celebrated fashion designer Gaurav Gupta's collection was showcased on Day 5 of PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2013. Gaurav Gupta's DCW 2013 collection was titled 'Lightfall'. And the outfits in Gaurav Gupta's DCW 2013 collection did match up with the name indeed.
At first, we were at loss trying to figure out the masked faced and body suits. But invariably, he portrayed a very clear transcendence of light and dark through all the outfits. The 'Lightfall' collection was concluded by Kalki Koechlin. She walked the ramp of DCW 2013 as the showstopper for Gaurav Gupta.
Kalki Koechlin wore a shimmering golden gown designed by Gaurav Gupta. The dress had a partially lace neckline. The shimmer and shine went quite well with the theme of the collection. Apart from Kalki's gown, her hairstyle was also very innovative. The girlish hairstyle gave a unique charm to her look.

Masked Sheer Dress
This gown was completely see-through; the sheer sheath was darkened in a jagged pattern. The gown was also masked. The mask was a part of the outfit.
Black Sleeveless Gown
This black sleeveless gown had lots of pleats. The skirt of the gown was laved with a cream border and there was cream coloured floral embroidery on one side.
Blue Masked Dress
This is another masked outfit from the realm of darkness. The lovely peacock blue gown had black lace worn on it. The mask too was made of black embroidered lace.
Gold and Beige Gown
The upper bodice of this gown is golden. The skirt that starts above the hips is made of beige coloured pleated silk.
Orange n Red Gown
This outfit is a gown that has been inspired from a lehenga choli. The full-sleeves are slightly puffed. The red brocade and orange chiffon are very reminiscent of an Indian bride.
Peach Coloured Raised Collar Gown
This full-sleeved gown has soothing shades of peach colour. The collar of this gown is raised in the shape of an open mouth.
Beige Mermaid Gown
This beige gown had an embroidered body hugging sheath till the upper thighs. It then flared out in beige coloured lace frills. It was a typical frilly mermaid gown but the colour was significant for the 'Lightfall' collection.
White Single Shoulder Gown
This blazing white single shoulder gown was one of the most wearable designs showcased by Gaurav Gupta at DCW 2013. The long white cloth earrings make the outfit even more appealing.
Thigh-high Slit Golden Gown
Kalki Koechlin wore a shimmering thigh-high slit golden gown from Gaurav Gupta's DCW 2013 collection. The neckline was partially lace and the train of the gown also had beige coloured lace trimmings.

Kalki took a walk down the ramp with celebrated designer Gaurav Gupta to conclude the 'Lightfall' collection at Delhi Couture Week 2013.
