Having celebrity show-stoppers is a huge trend in the fashion industry these days. Almost all fashion designers end their shows buy having a Bollywood celebrity walk the ramp wearing their clothes. The concept of the celebrity show-stopper works for the shutter-bugs as well. People love to see the pictures of Bollywood celebrities even at fashion events.
Moreover, celebrities are fashion conscious themselves. In fact, celebrities inspire fashion trends and styles in many cases. Sometimes the celebrities are friends with the fashion designers. Manish Malhotra is a classic example. Priyanka Chopra has walked the ramp many times for Manhish Malhotra.
