Fashion Labels Seen At Cannes 2013
Cannes Film Festival is one of the biggest fashion events of the year. It is a film festival where all the celebrities from the world alight. What better place for a designer brand to display its creations! Cannes and fashion labels go hand in hand. If a designer brand dresses a celebrity well, they win accolades. And if they don't, the fashion label's reputation at Cannes is marred.
For fashion labels, Cannes serves to be like a worldwide stall window in where they can display their best creations. We have seen several celebrities in designer gowns and outfits at Cannes 2013. While some of the names of these designer brands like Gucci, Dior and Chanel are well known, some are less famous.
Cannes gives Indian designers a never before opportunity to gain global acclaim. Many Indian designers have dressed our Bollywood celebrities at Cannes 2013. Their work has been much appreciated. Here are some of the best fashion labels seen at Cannes 2013 so far.

Marion Cortillard wore a lovely pleated mullet gown from Christian Dior at Cannes. This strapless gown was white with yellow, black and lilac pink panels.

Gucci
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned everyone by wearing an electric blue teal gown from Gucci at Cannes. This one shoulder gown looked stunning on her newly slimmed down figure.

Sabyasachi
Vidya Balan's entire Cannes trousseau has been designed by Sabyasachi. But except a few exceptions like this maroon and black lehenga, none are praise-worthy. To our surprise, even Ash wore a black Sabyasachi saree at Cannes this year.

Dolce n Gabbana
Sonam Kapoor wore a lovely floral ballroom gown from Dolce and Gabbana at Cannes. This strapless ball gown had large pink roses on it.

Chanel
Emma Watson wore a classic black and white gown from Chanel Couture. This noodle strap gown had a scooped out back.

The king of lace made his presence felt with two designer gowns at Cannes. First Eva Longoria wore a golden coloured Zuhair Murad gown and then Cheryl Cole followed up with a maroon one.
