Making it a wedding that will be remembered by the world, probably till the last day of this century. Not the wedding in it self, but the date of the ceremony. A couple is set to tie the knot today, and their ceremony will coincide with a once-in-a-century date and time moment reading 12:34:56 on 07-08-09.

The couple, Katie Barfoot and Troy Peters, will exchange vows as the clock passes the fifty-sixth second of the thirty-fourth minute of the twelfth hour on the seventh day of the eight-month in the ninth year of this century.

The event has had doom merchants predicting all sorts of grim outcomes, from the birth of Satan to the end of the world.

But, this seems to the least matter of concern for the couple who feel that it's just a rumour and they hope to have a prosperous life ahead. "I wanted it to be an easy date for Troy to remember our anniversary. But we realised the time and date will read 123456789," the Mirror quoted Barfoot, as saying. He adds: "The numerical wonder will take place during our wedding."

Yet, there seems to be a great deal of speculations by people on the unholy, as many believe, date.
