Dhoni's Posters Sell Like Hot Cakes
Sheopur, MP, (UNI) Indian Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's fan following has crossed urban limits and reached tribal-dominated villages of Sheopur in Madhya Pradesh.
'Mahi' posters sold like hot cakes outnumbering Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's during Deepawali season when tribals put up posters of film stars and sportspersons in their houses and outisde walls as a part of decoration.
More than 1,000 posters of Dhoni were sold at 25 shops across the town against 400 posters of Tendulkar.
Tribals adore Dhoni as a 'wrestler' due to his well-toned body.
Admired for his power-packed shots, tribals derive most pleasure while watching their favourite star hurling the cherry over the ropes.
Villagers also consider putting up posters of film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Dharmendra and Sunny Deol during Deepawali as a matter of pride.
