Aishwarya Rai Bachchan To Be Rani Lakshmibai?

Ever since they came into the limelight, together, Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen have always been pitted against each other. And there seems to be a fierce competition, yet again. Both the divas are slated to play the role of Rani Lakshmibai, in separate projects.
Aishwarya Rai's film, to be produced by Ketan Mehta, was already announced last year. Sushmita Sen too plans to produce a film on the same subject, under her banner, Tantra. If rumors are to be believed, her boyfriend Manav Menon will direct the film. She had earlier said that either the director or the director of photography will be from Hollywood. However her film will be based on Rani Lakshmibai as a mother.
Incidentally Sushmita Sen shares her birthday with Rani Lakshmibai, on November 19th. Let's wait and watch who emerges the winner in this battle of the beauties.
