Manisha Koirala is going through a rough patch. She broke up with boyfriend boyfriend,break up,manisha koirala,prashant choudhary, faced protests from religious organisations, and this week, is grappling with Abu Salem's statement that she was involved in the murder of her secretary, Ajit Dewani.

Music director Sandip Chowta's Feng Shui expert, Anil Vastu, who has was consulted for Chowta's Chennai bungalow and his rented flat in Mumbai, says Manisha's duplex apartment in Beechwood Towers has bad vastu, and this is affecting her personal and professional life When did you see Manisha's flat?

I went to see her flat a couple of months ago, with a friend.

What is the layout of the apartment?

Manisha has spoilt her own good luck. The main entrance is bad. The direction of the door is fine - south by southeast - but the door is cracked (as part of the design) and has wooden bars. This gives out negative vibrations.

The entrance is dull in appearance and poorly lit, attracting negative energy and causing setbacks in her personal life and career. She won't be involved in these issues but the negativity will harm her image Once you enter, you come into a hall with a tree in its centre, made of dead wood.

Dead wood or bright flowers is not acceptable, as they draw negative energy. In Feng Shui, anything that has no life is not good, even though it might be a part of modern design. If you have dead wood and plants, you should clean them often, washing them with water.

What are the other problems with her house?

Manisha's bedroom is in the wrong place. It's in the northwest, drawing negative vibes. Her gym is in the south-west, which is actually extremely powerful. The kitchen is on the first floor, above her study. Fire should never be above or below our heads.

What changes do you recommend?

She has to redo her main entrance, make it well lit and interchange her bedroom and gym. If she changes her bedroom to the southwest, it will bring stability. Also, you can't have a mirror facing your bed. This is a fundamental principle of Feng Shui. If a mirror reflects your bed, it means a third person will come into your life and relationship.

Manisha should keep lots of fresh plants near the door and remove the dead wood from her hall. The kitchen and study can be left for the present. If she does this, her personal and professional problems will be solved.

What colours do you recommend for her walls?

She should not have gaudy colours. The drawing room and bedroom should be in light, pleasant shades. Her bedroom should be pink or purple, which is good for relationships (she has a problem with them).

The drawing room walls can be a light pistachio green or yellow, a universal colour for all rooms. Our Indian cricket team should change their colour, as blue makes people lose their fighting spirit. That's why the Australians play so well - their uniforms are yellow
