Swimming Pool Cleaning Tips -
1.If water level in your pool is slowing going down then it is advised not to ignore as it may be a sign of leak. Even if the water loss is not major, the leak may eventually be a bigger problem and may become more expensive to fix.
2.If the pool is slippery and dirty then drain all the water from pool and brush the walls of the pool and remove the algae. Bleaching powder is a good cleaning agent that can be used after cleaning as it kill algae and will also avoid algae bloom.
3.Ensure the acid levels of the pool by measuring pH range of 7.2 - 7.6. This will support the chlorine added to water to work more effectively.
4.Once all the algae is dead the pool water turns white or ash color, drain the pool completely and remove all the dead algae that is settled in the pool floor.
5.After the pool is dry and clear, fill water and add some potassium permanganate crystals for a few days. The water turns deep pink and will clear other impurities in the water.
6.Vacuum the colored water and fill fresh water into the pool. Keep a close check on the water for every 2 days to check Alkalinity: 80 – 110 ppm and Calcium Hardness: 200 – 300 ppm.
